A few months ago Taiyab and I decided that it was time to give something back and start to teach others and continue to learn those who were more experienced than us. It was this thought which drove us to start up FreelanceApple.com. We shared some of our knowledge through articles and were always open to advice and criticism, subsequently we had a positive response from fans of FreelanceApple. We then decided that articles only summarised and scratched the surface of certain topics.
The Idea
Taiyab Raja is an expert in marketing and therefore wanted to do something where he shared his knowledge of marketing. We started brainstorming and soon enough we began to see a pattern and a gap for freelancers.
There are several other websites which exist today and many of them had ebooks in which they covered vast topics and went into some detail on all issues relating to freelancing. The books which they wrote were good and I have no criticism of them, however, there was one problem. All these books covered so many topics that it was impossible for them to possibly discuss any subject in proper full detail.
A few more brainstorming sessions and several conversations with freelancers later we had a good idea of what this book needed to cover. From then there was an uphill ride to writing the book. Taiyab Raja was the main author and I made my contributions where needed as co-author.
Release
When the book was done I was very anxious and nervous. I knew that we had covered a great deal but we tried a no-nonsense approach with no space filling and straight to-the-point information. I was worried about the reaction we would receive, whether people liked it and if it was worth it. I spent the night worried and in thought.
In the morning I found out that the people who had read it absolutely loved it. Over the next few days we received many emails from people admiring the book and explaining how it had helped to grow their business. It had helped some freelancers to attract higher paying clients and it even helped young entrepreneurs to promote their business.
Overall I saw the ebook as a success, because in my heart it was a fantastic feeling to have been part of supporting someone’s business. It was excellent to write it, it was great to release it and finally fulfilling to have made a difference.
Now
From today until midnight 19th February there is a very crazy offer we have on the ebook. I would encourage you to read the sales page as there are extracts from the book. For $14.95, you have nothing to lose.
